MRSM Felda Overview (Part 2)

Hi again!

-continued from part 1-

The academic block is divided to two parts; North Wing (for senior students) and South Wing (for junior students). Both of the block is connected by the so-called sky bridge. In the middle of the block is the morning call site (Dataran Pagi). Here's a sketch for a better image.

And here's the back side of the South Wing. And at the bottom of the picture is petanque court.

A class consists of 25-30 students. In my time, the class was divided alphabetically, but there's one class that consists of top students in the batch (called 409/509)

Moving on to the dormitory area, a dorm consists of 16 or 32 people. A dorm consists of several cubes that places 2 students. Here's another sketch I made for a 16-people dorm.

For clarification : This is just a sketch. Maybe lari sikit2 kot... :D

Dormitory for the boys is block A, B and C while for the princesses are block D, E and F. From my dorm (Block B) you will see beautiful scenery if you got into the 16-person dorm. The view is just fascinating and picturesque. (lel)

And yes, in the middle of the block there's badminton court!

Other infrastructure includes:

- A main hall that can place more than 1000 people in a time
- Two lecture halls that place more than 200 students in a time, often become a place for teachers to conduct evening classes for PT3 or SPM students.
- An open hall which also includes a stage.
- Surau dirikan Jumaat. Yes, you don't need to go out from the college in Friday to perform your Jumaat prayer like other school.
- Dining hall, which us call DS (Dewan Selera) and the food is served by D'Saji, Most of the students from another MRSM said they are the best. :D___
- Places to play tennis, futsal, squashy, volleyball, basketball, badminton and petanque. There's also a large field to play football and rugby and also a pavillion.
- *almost forgot* 2-storey library which also consists of a computer lab.
- 15 science labs, 2 computer labs and 4 Kemahiran Hidup Workshop.
- Outdoor gymnasium. nak sado kan?

Entrance to admin.

Main hall.

Outdoor gym.

As a conclusion, I highly recommend if any Year 6 or Form 3 students wanted to continue their study here. From food, infrastructure, teachers until dorm, everything is in mint condition. An additional info, this college was inaugurated by the respected Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak. He came during Hari Peneroka in 2010, and in an honour of his father of establishing FELDA, MRSM Felda was given the name MRSM Felda Kampus Tun Abdul Razak.

That's all for now. Leave a comment below if you wanna see some more pictures of this lovely college or want to know more of this college.

MRSM Felda Overview (Part 1)

So... Hi!

This is my first blog ever. So be gentle okay? I'm gonna mix the language if you don't mind (Malay and English)

I'm gonna write about this one school (you read it in the title don't you?). Yep. MRSM Felda Kampus Tun Abdul Razak. I stayed there for 5 years (2010-2014) and yes, I'm the alumni of this great school :) [Disclaimer : All of this information is true until November 2014. Don't blame me if there's anything changed in MRSM Felda.]

The famous 'sampan' entrance.

Let's start one by one. Infrastructure? 5/5. Seriously duh. This is the best MRSM. Not I said it but most of the students from other MRSM that stayed here said it. Dorm, class, main hall, courts (tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball etc.) was wonderful. Maybe one of the reason is because this MRSM is just opened (takde la baru sangat, tahun 2010 kira baru la jugak kan?)

Academic class. That shirt is our ASPURA (Asrama Putera) shirt worn by Aiman Izham.
This is the main hall. Inside, there are 4 badminton courts and an enormous stage (well, let's say big cause I've seen a bigger stage)

P/S : I'll upload some other pictures in Part 2 :D

Food? Don't worry cause you'll never get hungry here. You'll be served by the famous D'Saji from Felda 6 times a day! Yup, you read that right. 6 times. Still hungry? MRSM Felda also have its own ko-op and cafeteria that opened even in the night! (Until 11.00 pm) I don't even know if you ever getting hungry here!

Twilight time in MRSM Felda, viewed from male dormitory, 3rd floor.

I'll be back in Part 2 with some more pictures. See you soon!
